April 23, 2020 – Legendary Global and ESPotlight have entered into a partnership to develop and produce premium content targeting global Spanish speaking audiences. The announcement was made today by Legendary Global’s partners Chris Albrecht and Anne Thomopoulos and ESPotlight founder Anxo Rodriguez.
Legendary Global has committed to develop and produce 10+ productions a year with ESPotlight aimed at streaming platforms, pay TV and commercial networks.
Currently in production is “La Treintena,” a feel-good dramedy written and directed by Mireia Noguera and co-written by Marta Vives. The series is comprised of six episodes that follow the lives of four, late twenties girlfriends living during COVID-confinement. “La Treintena” takes place in Barcelona and stars Mireia Oriol, Paula Malia, Marta Vives and David Solans. The project is entirely financed by Legendary Global.

Recently created ESPotlight, is the content arm of the existing agency Alter Ego Talent House, which represents top tier actors, directors, writers and composers in Spain. Alter Ego’s clients include Dani de la Orden (Elite), Alex Rodrigo (Money Heist), Alejandro Hernández (Criminal) and Mariano Barroso (MoviStar+ La Linea Invisible) and Isabel Coixet (HBO’s Foodie Love). Alter Ego Talent House works in collaboration with CAA. Rodriguez will continue to operate as managing director of the agency.
Launched in December, Legendary Global develops, produces and finances premium scripted television for the global market with a focus on projects built for the international marketplace. The venture leverages the collective relationships of the partners and Legendary’s rich resources and is focused on creating partnerships with international producers, platforms and buyers across the globe.
